I've worked with Transware, though not recently, and with SDL more recently.   Both seemed to struggle with project management. They had difficulty with explaining the process, providing clarity around client support needed for translation, and timeliness of delivery was also an issue. With electronic media, they have trouble creating a consistently bug free delivery, in terms of technology.  I have not had direct experience with them, but I also had a customer complain about LionGate, her experience sounded not unlike mine.
