Double-click issue with advancing to next question slide?  (N/A)

I found in a Presenter course we're developing that I had to hit the Submit button twice to move to the next question… and it was that way on most of the questions (there are only 5).  Has anyone else experienced this issue with Presenter quizzes, and if so, is there a way to correct it? Help!

Re: Double-click issue with advancing to next question slide?  (N/A)

I've encountered the same problem.  Here's what is causing it and how I resolved it:

In my course, the setting for each quiz question had been set to “Show correct message” and “Show error message” (These settings are found under: Quiz Manager>Edit Question>Options; there is a checkbox for each option).  Since the slides had the default “correct”, “incorrect” message boxes removed, when the course attempted to display them nothing appeared on-screen; however, the course still behaved as if they had been displayed in that it required the user to click to proceed.  The end result was that the student had to click a second time after submitting the question to move on, although no message box was present to prompt them to do so.

I resolved it by unchecking the "Show correct message” and “Show error message” settings,so now when “Submit” is clicked, the course immediately proceeds to the next slide.

Hope that helps.

Re: Double-click issue with advancing to next question slide?  (United States)

This issue re-surfaced with another course and I wanted to provide some additional info on the solution:

As we all know, when a question slide is created with the Quiz Manager, it will include several response boxes on the slide (for responses to correct/incorrect answers, re-tries, etc) depending on the quiz settings.

In this other course we discovered at one point during development that the question slides did not have the "Try Again" response box, which is what Presenter displays in the event of a question being answered incorrectly when students are allowed infinite attempts. It may be that it was deleted inadvertently, but more likely we encountered a glitch in Presenter which removed it when Quiz Manager settings were changed during development. Unfortunately, adjusting settings would not re-insert the "Try Again" response box, so we created a new presentation with a question slide and cut and paste the response box into all our question slides (after we formatted it to look the way we wanted it to). We then tested the course and it now responses correctly to both correct and incorrect answers.
