 9 Events of Instruction
 
According to Dr. Robert Gagne, one of the most influential experimental psychologists in the area of instructional design, there are nine events that activate processes needed for effective learning. The 9 Events of Instruction focus on information processing relative to learning and memory and provide training designers with specific strategies based on a hierarchy of intellectual skills.
