 Hidden Slide Issues in Presenter

The primary issue with having hidden slides in a PowerPoint which is published in Presenter is the impact it has on the completion reporting. Hidden slides are included in Presenter‘s calculation of the course completion percentage, although students are unable to visit the slides and therefore can’t achieve completion.

For example: Let's assume you have a 35 slide PowerPoint, of which 5 slides are hidden. You want completion to be based on Slide View Percentage, and require the student to visit all but the last page. This published version will, of course, only show a 30 slide course- so it would make sense that the completion percentage would be set to 97% (For more information, see documentation on this site regarding "Calculating Slide Completion Percentage"). However, with Presenter counting the hidden slides in the calculation, 97% could only be achieved if the student visits 34 slides. Therefore, completion can never be achieved.

It is highly recommended that all hidden slides be removed from the PowerPoint before publishing it as a Presenter course.
