Hyperlinks in Presenter
Some developers encounter the issue where their hyperlinks don't become active. PowerPoint will auto-format text to links, but to recognize them, the text must start with "http://" or at least "www." Also, for PowerPoint's auto-formatting to work, it needs to recognize where the text ends. A space needed to be typed after the text to cue the auto-formatting. You'll be able to tell that it worked in that the text will become a live link right away.
Another method is to select the text that you wish to convert to a link, right- click on it, and select "Hyperlink". A dialog box will appear that will allow you to add the web address. This method is useful if you wish the text to be something else than the url itself (for instance, "click here to access the site").
